About us

Owner Greg started in the tyre industry in 1982 and purchased Havelock North Tyre & Alignment Ltd in 1993. He has a very hand-on approach, a regular on the Tyre levers and keeping control on the financial side of the business. He also buys and sells second hand tractor tyres. Greg is a strong believer of supporting fellow local businesses. He’s never far from his laptop or mobile phone and is there to help 24/7. Greg and his wife Fiona raise 4 boys on their orchard.

Craig is our Service Manager, whom as been a member of our team for 16 years, specialises in wheel alignments, brake repairs, and car tyre sales & service. He previously worked for Autobrakes. Craig is a former New Zealand go carting champ and is now supporting his son Cameron with his target shooting.

Justin returns to the tyre industry after a long break, Justin is a well known local man, living in Hawkes Bay most of his life, With over 20 years experience in the industry.

Maree is our friendly front-of-house face! Along with all general reception duties, Maree processes our invoices and enters all our inventory. She also deals with customer service bookings.

Springer is Hawkes Bay’s tyre repair guru with 30 years’ plus experience in repairing and retreading all range of tyres. Springer is also involved in the heavy haulage transport industry as a certified load pilot.

Elliot has worked in the tyre industry for the past 18 Years. Born into the tyre industry (Elliot’s Dad is a Tyre Man) Its not surprising he’s such a passionate man!

An Experienced Tyre Man. Born & bred here in Hawkes Bay, Lars is also a keen hunter

James returned to the Tyre industry after a long break. James is also a locally born & raised.

Shane has been in and around the tyre game since 1986, gained valuable experience in vulcanizing and tyre retreading along the way. Currently specializing in Wheel Alignments among other tasks.
